"It was everything. Being in the band was what defined me as a person. I get nostalgic every time I talk about it because, you know, as I see it now and I watch it and I see that it's evolved to be better than it's ever been. But at the same time, the traditions are the same."

Since 1989, Impact has been topping charts as one of the largest and most lauded college radio stations in the country, picking up a MAB Station of the Year award in 2015.
"I've been a DJ for almost two full years now and I wish I would've gotten started right away. There's something special about DJ-ing because you can't see or hear your audience. You don't know if a hundred people are tuned in or just one, so it's a very personal thing to share parts of your day and fun facts when you don't know who's listening."
